The MOE stock does fit alot tighter then the S&W stock. You do have to use alot more force to move it back and forth.

I bought the A1 with the treaded barrel. I was going to take the iron sights off anyways and install a red dot scope so it wasn't worth it to me to buy the MOE model. I think the sights are the most expensive add on for the MOE model.

The Mako mag well grips will not just bolt on to the magazine well, the inside of it has to be ground down in different area's to make it fit. It is made for an AR15 and they are a bit thinner then the 15-22. It's not really that hard to do, it's just alittle time consuming to get it to fit...
