The “loose” non-collet bushing on a disassembled gun is generally not an issue. What matters is how it fits when the gun is in battery and the barrel is tipped up. They can certainly shoot with a high degree of accuracy, as you found out. 👍🏻

A 3” mdl 13 is a great gun, has a bit of a cult following, and can be difficult to come by. Especially at the price you got. I’m jealous!

You’ll be able to with this new legislation, I believe. Just form 1 an SBR for the pistol, and add a stock. NFA paperwork isn’t burdensome, and approval times are very short compared to the year+ that they used to be. It’s not perfect, but it isn’t particularly onerous, either
