    If the president uses his pen to EO 'assault weapons' to the NFA title IIa status does this mean NYers lose those weapons? This would seem like a major 2a violation. Am I interpreting this correctly?

    (5) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds. Thats CA law......would seem ny is trying to imitate .....or fool. I think the intent was to lump fixed mag firearms into one clause. Hrm.......

    Then why have "c"? I would think fixed magazine applied to both. If so C would be unnecessary. "A" exists for detachable mag rifles as C does for pistols? Maybe?

    That isn't what it says. Fixed magazine with more than 10 round capacity OR detachable mag with one more characteristic. Where are you reading all semi- auto pistols?

    I just read the bill....?hand guns with detachable mags and one characteristic. How does that ban them all? Means you would need to obey mag limits - no?
