No spring change needed. it shoots fine with the 40 spring....

In my bag it had two different sized springs, one little tiny one and one about the size of the safety block spring. could it be possible your small spring is inside the other one and you didn't see it?

Good Job on coming up with a design that will do multiple guns. Have you considered using fine threads on the pusher screw? it would make "minute" adjustments a little easier and make that screw easier to turn on any sight. Again, Good job on your efforts :)
