Again, Kudos to Big Cholla. He did such a fantastic job on my model 31 cylinder, I sent him the cylinder from my Colt Detective Special (1958 vintage) to be reamed from 32 New Police to 32 H & R Mag. Just like last time, it was quick easy. Easy for me anyway. :)

Dredging up an old thread.... but this is my 31-1 that I just had reamed to 32 H&R Mag by Big Cholla on this forum. If you're on the fence on whether or not to do it, don't be. He does nice work. Attaching a crappy cell phone pic because everyone likes pics...right?

This dead horse has been beaten enough, but have you considered using a little polish on those scratches, and some fine sandpaper to knock down the burrs? You could probably have that piece looking pretty spiffy in about an hour and not have to deal with shipping it off. Those little marks...

Thanks a LOT for the info. The little gun has been refinished in some kind of spray on finish. Whomever did it did a fantastic job....it really is very nice. I don't mind it at all. I did have to put a slightly stiffer mainspring (coil) in it because it was having light strikes about a third...
