I was in the same boat recently looking for a carry gun. I shot both quite a bit thanks to friends; I can honestly say I shot both quite well, probably about even - but the m&p felt worlds better in hand and I went with the 40c.

Kygunco has .40 in stock right now but with nasty markup. By the time I eat my credit card fee and taxes its about $535 out the door, a bit too high in my opinion. Dammit.
