Thanks for letting me know that. I used a brass mallet and tapped it back down. I will watch out to see if it creeps during shooting.

I just find having the hammer spur there and being DAO to be a very disconcerting. I wouldn`t mind DAO but it would have to be bobbed. Mine was filled at a angle, it looked jimbob but who knows.

Are you sure on the grips? The frame is square butt and the grips are perfectly contoured to the frame. EDIT: Ahhh...I see what you are talking about now.

I see some penciled writing, very faint. I see a 31 and a 98 but hard to make it out the numbers in between. Probably matched there but you know how pencil is to read.
