Your opinion on Bodyguard 2.0 vs LCP Max?

How much bigger is the 2.0 than the original? I carry the original in a pocket holster everywhere, but like the increased capacity. I haven't held the 2.0, and would like to carry in my pocket.

Off the shelf pocket holster for Smith 6906?

I would check out Urban Carry Holsters. Just give them a call and explain what model 6906 you have, and the probably have the correct holster ready to ship. I love leather and the click of the kydex.

    Good gun belt for carry

Check out wethepeople.com. The buckleless and leather belts, both with a scuba lining are quality and last. My .02¢

    tuckable holster for shield

Check out the https://acecase.com/tuck-able-holster-leather-various-sizes.html I've tied many holsters and keep going back to this one. Take a look how high the clip is, making the back of the gun sit almost level at the belt line. Don't let the cheap price tag fool you, it is well made and...

Irate with Smith & Wesson. Done with them.

Again, I don't see the need to jump all over me because I said I thought the Glock trigger felt good to me. The conversation leading up to my post was S&W and Glock. Nobody mentioned other manufacturers or 1911. You don't need to try and make me look stupid. You are obviously smarter and have a...

Irate with Smith & Wesson. Done with them.

You just made my point genius. Because I find my Glock trigger very good and the S&W trigger is not to my liking, I'm wrong and your confused. I'd say 90% of M&P owners think the trigger is horrible and needs attention. I don't know about Glock owners, as I stated, I'm a newbie to Glock, but...

Irate with Smith & Wesson. Done with them.

The members here amaze me to no end. I read thread after thread talking about poor quality issues with their S&W handguns and terrible customer service, but its like Smith-Wesson is the greatest thing ever. You bash everyone for having a complaint and blame the owner for poor quality and...

    9mm shield broke

I agree with Mike, the quality control is terrible and needs to improve. Far too many failures with these guns right out of the box. All brands, not just S&W, but being a S&W forum, this is where it is posted. Everyone else just seems to love bashing posters for having a complaint. Grow up...

Pin Numbers required for gun purchase

Another pleasant member with a lot to offer. Why is it when someone asks a question do some members need to interject their nasty attitude and offer nothing of value (other than to show everyone his ignorance). The OP asked a question. If you have nothing to offer then don't reply. Get your post...

Need a kitchen knife that works

I use Connoisseur by Dexter-Russell. They are commercial kitchen knives and covered by lifetime warranty. You can find them in restaurant supply places and they really hold up. The Chef knives are made from a single-piece, stain-free, high-carbon steel blade. They stay sharp and being one...

    What auto do you recommend?

I know this is a S&W forum, but I'd suggest a Beretta Storm PX4 G Model. The PX4 is available in 9mm, 40s&w, and my favorite, the 45acp. The "G Model" has a decocker lever and not a safety, though a model with a safety is available. It has an external hammer and can be decocked safely, and your...

Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Carry Position

I too am vertically challenged (extremely) and carry OWB for most of my guns. I enjoy the comfort of the Avenger Holster here at Defensive Line Leathers. Very well made, very concealable, and works very well for me. Heavy leather, nice cant, and great fit. You do need a good heavy belt for all...

What food do you like when you're having a beer?

Cigars and beer first, then some wings or ice cream. Wings are great with beer and NY has GREAT wings. I love vanilla ice cream and beer, great combo on a hot day or while smoking a nice stogie.

    Calling all cooks!

My wife only has 1 small non-stick for eggs and such. She went to a professional kitchen supply store. She got a pro-grade NS, which holds up to high heat and its been great. It was pretty cheap considering, she also has a few heavy duty stainless pans from them, and they hold up great too.

Done! A couple of free manuals

A couple of months back, I won a prop rod from mbliss57 just for posting "I'll take it". I love this prop and felt it would be nice to do something like that for another member. I really don't have any S&W type anything to give away, but I figure someone might like these manuals, seeing these so...

Need some links for OTW leather holster for a 9mm Shield

You should take a look at Defensive Line Leathers. I ordered a holster from Tim and can't say enough. Great quality, nice fit, quick delivery and not much more than a premade holster. I'm waiting for delivery of my custom belt and will ordering another holster. Really sharp looking rigs!

    Advice on holster

Not sure if the 439 and something like the 5906 are the same size or not, but check TheHolsterStore.net S&W 5904, 5906 I have an IWB for my 6906 from them and its nice. Not expensive and had it within a week. I only use leather and this IWB has good quality leather and conceals well. Email them...
