If you mean (on the mags) did I push down the follower? No I did not. I ordered the Shield W/O safety and the only one my LGS could get. He told me that I had the only Shield 45 in the state. I just won't use the safety.

Got my Shield last weds and got out today to check function. The 6rd mag I could only get in 3rds and the 7rd mag I could get 4rds in, no matter how hard I pushed! When I got home I used an Uplula and still only got 3rds and 4rds in the mags. I took both mags apart and there was nothing wrong...

I ordered mine on May 26 because they were supposed to be out 1 June. Now the latest rumor is that they will be out 1 July. Hope they soon !!! I will pay $429 OTD.

I'm wrong. It's a M&P 45 shield with a compact frame. I see on ebay they have M&P compact 8rd mags for sale and that's why I am wondering about the mag size.

I've got a Shield M&P 45c on order and the spec sheet states that you get a 6+1 mag and a 7+1 mag. Every write up on the web says that both mags are 8 rounders, one with a pinkey rest. Are they both 8 rounders?

On the box that my 686-2 came in ,I can`t figure out all the symbols. I know that F-S means stainless, stock - SB square butt? then it has RR and features WO. What does the RR mean? I think the WO means with out. Did I guess right? Any ideas on RR. Thanks

Where do you find the model number and find out if you have a 686- ?. I think that I have a 686-2, it`s on the frame under the cylinder, is that the right place, right below the serial number. Thanks, Jeff Also new to this forum
