I carry my Shield 45 anytime I'm going into town. Today while mowing I had my 351 PD on my hip with a couple of 22 WMR shotshells loaded up first. I'll likely be carrying my DW Guardian 38 super over the cooler months when a jacket covers better. But I do really like my Shield 45. 😉

Those were my thoughts exactly! My Shield 45 does carry as well or better than most of my "lesser caliber" options. And it's darn accurate too! Sometimes I even opt to carry a second magazine.

I put a roller handle on my 550 about a month after I bought it (30 years ago) and I've never experienced any discomfort using it. I'm quite happy with the press and the roller handle. It seems to spread out the pressure point on my hand. Good investment.

I agree. All 22 ammo is a bit "sooty", but CCI seems the cleanest burning of the readily available "non boutique" ammo.
