    SD40VE w/ Talon Grip, Apex Springs, & TLR-3

That looks like a SW VE not a SD VE, the SW you will need this adapter... Amazon.com : Laserlyte Smith and Wesson Sigma Rail Adapter : Hunting And Shooting Equipment : Sports & Outdoors@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41aLG08B9jL.@@AMEPARAM@@41aLG08B9jL

    SD40VE w/ Talon Grip, Apex Springs, & TLR-3

I haven't done any polishing yet at it still has a little bit of gritty feeling to it but overall a good upgrade. I'm use to to the stock trigger though so for me it feels extremely light lol. For the light and everyone interested the TLR-3 needs the E adapter to fit. So if anyone buys the light...

    SD40VE w/ Talon Grip, Apex Springs, & TLR-3

I take it your talking about the dovetail sights and from factory seems real accurate and sturdy but like all guns you have to compensate a little. As for an IWB I have no idea, I know there's some out there for the M&P that should fit. I use the Fobus SWMP paddle holster without the light...

    SD40VE w/ Talon Grip, Apex Springs, & TLR-3

Been a while but have some updates. Sold my old SD40VE and finally upgraded to an M&P9c. Long story short my car was stolen along with my brand new gun :( Decided to buy another SD40VE since I like it and had a lot of range time. Installed Talon rubber grip, Apex springs, and a TLR-3. I have to...

    SW40V Snapped Firing Pin

Got my old V back this morning. Took 3 weeks but I can't complain for a free fix. Loaded some caps in it and it's working flawlessly. Another A+ in my book for S&W warranty, especially for it being a 16 year old gun!

ammo prices: then and now question

I liked what they said on Colbert, the government is buying it all up so you have nothing to put in your guns, LMAO. Another form of gun control? I almost scored a box of 250 180/FMJ .40 Magtech for $103 shipped from Midway, needed some target ammo :(

    Ammo nightmares

Ammo seems to be the new gold rush here in Dallas, TX! Every time I check the shelves they're nearly empty, just a few 12 & 20 gauge boxes. The range sells the for almost double and yeah people that don't have guns buy the ammo to make a few bucks from their friends with guns :/

If your dad didn't teach you to shoot , who did?

Man I must be a late bloomer. Didn't fire a gun till I was about 26, not counting pellet guns. Can't remember what it was but it was a bullet jamming 9mm. Then my army buddies came back home and showed me the proper way to take apart, clean, hold, shoot, store, and well everything. Now I'm 29...

    SW40V Snapped Firing Pin

Well let's start another thread for S&W warranty... Dry fired for a field strip before going to the range and the firing pin snapped in half, was a sad Sunday. I'm the 3rd owner and who knows how the previous owners kept and maintained this gun but from what I've been reading it's an old issue...

New S&W owner from Dallas, TX

Picked up an old SW40V from a friend. I hear both bad and good things about this gun. Friend said it had an ejection problem but I figured I would take it apart and give it a good cleaning and see if that was the problem, after just looking at it I already knew it probably was. Used some old gun...
