So I have this 586 with a 8 3/8" barrel and it is just begging to have a scope mounted onto it so I can use it for deer hunting. My dad has carried this through the mountains since 1987 and never had a chance to shoot a deer with it, so I am hoping to get a chance some day before he is gone...
