Theoretically if you had to similar model revolvers and wanted to swap side plates would they fit? Maybe a better way to ask this is each side plate hand fitted? I have never tried but am curios to here your experiences. Thank you.

No expert here, but I have a mod 66 x law enforcement issue that's been shot to death and has the same markings. It's one of my favorites and can't find anything wrong with it. I am interested to hear if I am missing something.

I have the exact 19-4 four inch as you described, I wondered if it was unique but as time goes by I have learned most likely not. With that said it is a favorite of mine to shoot and would be my pick of the two. Good luck !

I have a Texas Ranger knife with a etched ranger sene. Serial # TR10###, S&W stamp 1973, TEXAS RANGERS 1823-1973, yes all the standard markings are there. I have seen a similar rare etching of one horse with a banner reading one riot one ranger but cannot find the etching I have with multiple...

I had many members of my wife's and my family from out of state, probably won't happen again but it was worth it. Believe it or not it wasn't to many guns.

Finally great weather this weekend so took the family out to the range. Since we had most the revolvers out thought what better time then now to take a photo. Only negative was all the cleaning afterwards. Happy Easter !
