Thanks for the thorough post and solid information. I was searching for other users experience, after watching shootingthebull.com youtube 9mm & .380 ammo test videos out of 3" barrels, and trying to decide on which SD round I should be carrying.

I have the Talon Grips on my Shield and loved them, until they started coming off. I live in a desert climate and evidently the adhesive will start softening and the tape starts sliding around and eventually comes off. I had my tape on for about 1 year when I started having problems. Not a huge...

Just an update on trying to find a sear plunger for my Shield...Just spoke with S&W CS this morning and they are sending out a new plunger today. No questions or issues. Very pleased they were able to help me obtain this so quickly.:)

Shield Replacement Parts I lost the tiny, little sear return plunger :eek:(fits into the top of the sear spring) from my Shield 9mm today while doing some maintenance and need to buy another one. Anybody know how/where to get OEM parts like this? Tried S&W, APEX, Brownell's site and no luck...
