    model 41 question

Hi, Just got my model 41 7" and got question. It is factory new and I assume it is normal that locking trigger guard is opening and closing not as easy and required some power applied for it? How I can make it normal, I oil it a bit but it is still required extra force to open/close. Thanks!

CH plate, gap under red dot

it doesn't mean thousands of rounds as I do with my CZ Shadow or 1911 or whatever pistol made for the range. Yes you need to know your firearm but 50 rounds per session or even dry fire is enough, that is not going to change or effect your red dot anyhow. Zero it in 10 shot and you are good to go.

CH plate, gap under red dot

CCW pistol should not be used a lot, this is not range gun making several thousands of shots. It should protect your life and will be taken by police maybe forever while investigation. It would work for this reason just fine and I got Shield because of this. I don't care about little light :)

CH plate, gap under red dot

I just finished this, besides larger front lugs I file extractor roller pin which was sticking a lot there, used perma-blue and now it is perfect. Also holes on CH plate was smaller than pins, made them little bigger. 30 min of work.

CH plate, gap under red dot

Hi, I got this plate for my OR shield plus and Holosun 407, install all correctly and I still could see small gap under the front of red dot. Rear under the bolts is OK. Why CH can't make $60 plate that is working without manual mods? It is not first time I am having issues with their plates on...

    Shield plus optics

It is actually taking more time to connect rear sight, front sight and target with your eye in one line vs just point red dot to the target and shot, assuming red dot is in zero before that. That is one of the main advantages of red dot, also dot should not be in center like with the scope.

    Shield plus optics

I am not worry about irons, I can't see them well anyway even night or bright one, red dot is extremely helpful device in my case. Also I am not co-witness believer, it contradicts idea of red dot. Most good red dots could stay years on one battery, tested and no problem here as well. I am...

    CCI Blazers .22 rimfire garbage

If you are talking about 9mm Blazer I could say for sure - it is possibly the best 9mm FMJ rounds available these days. I buy 124gr mostly but 115gr is about the same perfect with any of mine 9mm pistols or carbines and I have a lot of them. Price is still cheap as well, you could get 1k rounds...
