    Leave the SD40 as it is. In mine I only changed the rod and spring for the 17lb stainless steel Galloway but my gunsmith told me to leave the trigger alone because it will be smoothing itself with time.

    WILL THE FACTORY SIGMA RECOIL SPRING FIT OVER A WOLF STEEL GUIDE ROD?

    Just came from the shooting range and sprayed over 2 cases of ammo down the range, not even a single failure or jamming occurred with the stock guide and spring contrary with the Galloway 20lb rod and spring. I am thinking my SD40 does not like a spring over the factory load one...

    I know you can take apart the Galloway steel rod but I don't know if the factory one can be disassembled and put the factory spring over the steel rod. I have never seen the Wolff one, is there any difference between the Galloway and this one?
