Your opinion on recoil is just your opinion.
As posted, women and not so masculine men, struggle with 40, 10mm and up.
The price difference is only a few dollars difference per box.
Your accuracy standards are a matter of opinion also.
Just an observation; in person, talking to people who dislike or talk trash about the .40 S&W have never even shot one.
Same seems to ring true on the interwebs.
People can search my history/posts. I own/shoot about every caliber.
I'll CCW a 10mm, 40 and 9 at any given time. Just depends on...
Beats up guns how?
I have 9's, 45's, 40's 10mm's and a couple other odd ball caliber.
Most of my pistols have anywhere between 500 to 1500 rounds through them, all, for the most, original internals. The 40's are not beat up at all. My Glock 20 has been ran hot through most of its life and for...
A lot of recoil? LMAO!!!
I have won a few local matches with a Glock 35.
My reloads outperform 9mm in self defense loads.
Some of you guys make me laugh so hard, I spit out my coffee.
S&W had my Shield Plus CC for 8 weeks. The gun had constant FTF right out of the box.
This is the 1st gun that they returned to me without a list of repairs.
I had to make a phone call to find out what repairs were made.
And to top that off, they returned my gun to the wrong store, 45 miles...
Just caught this thread before I started to clean my Sheild Plus CC.
Excuse the dirt and grime in the pic, just ran 200 rds through her.
My block is not flat but not rounded like the others.
Is mine a different design?
I'm currently looking for a comfortable IWB holster for my SP CC with red dot.
Just wanting to see what to get and what to stay away from.
Post pics if you have any.
Finally got my Shield CC back from S&W for warranty work on Friday.
Just mounted my RX15 today and hope to try it out tomorrow.
I hope mine isn't a turd, but either way, I plan on getting the Vortex Defender CCW green dot.
Sent my brand new Shield Plus CC back two weeks ago because of FTF and the trigger pin walked out.
250 rounds and the dam thin jammed every single magazine, all with premium ammo.
No word back from S&W or my FFL that I purchased from.
I'm old and I hate using red dots!
With my astigmatism, I prefer green dots! :giggle:
I do use a few red dots on powered scopes, but for the up close stuff, I can really focus on the green dot just as fast as iron sights.
