I would not use both sights at the same time either, but need to be sure that if i have to remove the optics for some reason i can hit the target using my iron sights. I could do this now, but the optic's zero is not a true zero...and i prefer to have both sights with the same zero.

Yes POA = POI if i dont align the center of the scope with my front sight for a proper 1/3 lower co-witness.

By not co-witnessing i meant that the center of the scope is to the far right when looking through the rear sight...instead of being on top of the front sight.

You understood my explanation correctly. I agree that it sounds illogical but it is exactly what happened. I did acknowledge the possibility of mounting error and as I said I will confirm it. However, in the thread I cited in my previous post I found that this was an issue with other prism scope...
