What is your favorite powder measure?

I have a Harrells, Lyman 55, Quick Measure, B&M, Lee's PPM, Auto Disk, Auto Drum, and their Classic (now called the Deluxe) and a Dillon. My go to measures are the Auto Drum for progressive and the Classic for single stage. The only reason I like the Classic better than the PPM is it's ease of...

    Has anyone used Armscor bullets?

They worked great in both the Inland and the Rockola. Good for minute of beer/soda can at 100yds.

    RCBS 10-10 scale

I've collected 5 beam scales, oil damping Redding, Lyman M5, Lee Safety Scale, Ohaus 10-10 and a new Redding #2. Those are the ones I've kept. All except both Reddings were used when I got them. The used ones needed some DIY cleaning and leveling to get them to agree with a scale weight set...

    What is this tool?

I've also read that over tightening that nut can crack the housing which would seriously suck.

    Richard Lee Has Passed

Mike D also used Lee's ideas for their powder measures with Richards approval. Richard proudly mention this in his manuals. Although I started with Herters press and dies and LOVED the Herters catalogs as a kid I am glad Richard Lee stepped in followed in that tradition to make reloading a poor...

    Hammer Type Bullet Pullers

The problem with shellholders is the cap must be removed each and every time. Not so with the Quinetics. Just slide the cartridge in add 1/4 turn, hammer, 1/4 turn counterclockwise and drop the components out.

    Hammer Type Bullet Pullers

The Quinetics bullet puller is a big improvement for ease of use and speed. With their collet there is no need to remove the cap. just a 1/4 twist for opening or closing. It allows for easy insertion and removal of the cartridge and case when the cap is just loosened. Also a kids plastic...

Forster Co-ax - first time use questions

There is an aftermarket jaw holder housing that uses a recessed section in each housing to help retain the springs. But the actual Forster jaw holder housing was recently upgraded by Forster which now have the pins on both ends of the recessed area in which the springs reside in the housing...

Forster Co-ax - first time use questions

If you bought brand new I just call Forster and ask them why it "missing" the pins on the Jaw Holder. Every time I've called Forster they been very helpful. See if they won't swap the part out. And yes it would be a good idea to order some extra springs.

Forster Co-ax - first time use questions

Did your CO-AX come with the new spring retainer pins in the shellplate's jaw-holder? The pins really help keep the springs from flying across the room when replacing the shellplates. The springs are what cause the jaws to close and the pins fit inside the springs. I just replaced my old jaw...

Forster Co-ax - first time use questions

I just change out The shellplate to the universal shellholder on my Bonanza CO-AX. I did have to back out the Lee decapping die till threads were flush at the base of the Forster lockring. But for me with the ram fully raised, the handle did hit the stops. It work using both an RCBS and Lee...

What is the Best all around smokeless powder

Unique does have difficulties with some powder measures. Unique does meter consistently in the Dillon, Lyman 55 and Lee's PPM, Classic, Deluxe and Autodrum with loads greater than 2gr to 12gr. That's as far as I've tested in these measures.

    A walk thru time/history WWII/S.E.Asia

I wasn't aware the M2 Carbine was in combat use in WWII. Just did a Quick Wikipedia check that indicates it was used at the tail end of WWII both in Europe and the final phases of the Philippines. If it was use in PI it must have been use on Okinawa. Please post more info on your experience...
