I have never lettered a Smith only a few Colts. Is there a number to call or way to letter a Smith?

I will try to post more photos of the barrel later today. It looks extremely clean and mint at the muzzle. If this was cut down and re-blued I would be impressed by the person who made this happen to say the least. Thanks.

I am hoping I lucked up and found a Model 24-3 with a factory 5" barrel. It has a CC wide hammer and trigger with white outline rear sight.

Lee, would a Letter of Authenticity from Smith & Wesson provide this level of detail? Was it likely re-blued before it left the factory? How does this effect the value of the gun? Thanks for the valuable information.

Russ, I read through that post and response #41 indicated he has a few K model that do not have a "B" yet his are bright blue. Thanks for the link, it was an interesting read. Perry

Sorry for the confusion. When I purchased the gun, I knew it had the wrong grips so I took them off. Someone requested I post pictures of the grips so I posted pictures of the grips today.
