    I had the exact sights on my Shield before selling it and they were perfect, but this 9c is definitely an older production run. Looking to buy another Shield in 9mm, may just swap these over and find something different for the 9c.

    Thanks guys, TruGlo offered to take the slide in and fix it however they could, worth the $5.95 "if it fits it ships" box. Nothing was under the sight that I can see, but I can tell you after him breaking the first front sight and this job on the second, I won't be going back there again.

    Thank you. Any idea what I may have done wrong? I tapped it out, fit it in by hand and tapped it back, not as high as when "gunsmith" did it but still has the gap under. I really like these TFX's and they fit right on the Shield before I sold it.

    I took it off and put it back on myself with a vice and tape covered punch, same fit. Was so easy I'm pissed I spent $80 having the sights swapped from my Shield. I'll wait to hear from TruGlo.     Thank you. He said he didn't have to file anything off the sight. He broke the first one installing it and TruGlo sent him a new one to replace it, he said it went in easier than expected. There is no set screw on front sight that I can see. Time to buy my own sight pusher, any recommendations?

    I had these TFX sights installed by a gunsmith, pointed out the gap and he said that is how it is supposed to be. If you can't see in picture, there is a gap between the sight and slide, as well as under the dovetail section. Had the same sights on my Shield before I sold it and it did not...
