    I just acquired a model 539, in the 1981 serial range according to Supica, imported in Germany and proofed at the Munich proof house in 1982. Probably moved across the border recently. Seems to have been shot very little. Came just with a single mag and the original box. I sold my Beretta 87...

    Very reliable with the ammo it likes (including Remington target or eley club). Accuracy is of course also about the shooter. In my hands, it is almost as accurate as the S&W model 17 4" I had, single handed at 25 yards, but it does require more efforts.

    Thanks. You need to pick the ammo carefully if you want no malfunctions. Quite accurate considering the short sight radius and the long trigger travel. I love the balance and feel in the hand and the look of course. Mine has in excess of 10,000 rounds through it to date.
