    L- Frame 41 Magnum?

Reading the thread, this was also my first thought. I'd be all over a 10mm L-Frame.

    Smith and wesson 1006 10mm

Every gun is different when it comes to accuracy. Shooting is the only way to find out. I'm very happy with accuracy of my 10mm Tanfoglio.

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

Thinking about my reply to this thread I surprised myself that it was relatively recent. I've been a gun guy all my life, I'm a very young 73 now. So when I started thinking back it's only been 2013, twelve years. Guess I'm a late bloomer. My first S&W was a 629-5 5". Which I sold a couple...

    Smith family pics

My baby gets a new pair of shoes. Recently bought a 610 with Hogue grips. Found a nice set of Combat Grips. They were from a fellow forum member. Great deal and transaction, thank you hkcavalier. So while I was taking pics of the 610 with the Combats I'd haul out the rest of my meager...

    Fire Down Below!!!

That looks good. Definitely going to have to try it. Here's a pic of of my peppers in process. I'm holding off picking them until they start turning red. In my wicking raised beds I've got jalapenos, hot banana, Poblano, a big Jim (hatch), anahiem, bells and a basil plant.

    Fire Down Below!!!

Do you use the whole pepper or remove the seeds and pith? What is jalapeno vinegar? Haven't heard of that. All sounds very interesting. Might give it a try. My peppers are going gang busters but my tomatoes are under attack by a local herd of chipmonks. Also, got a recommendation...

Lack of interest in 40 SW yet 10MM is getting popular??

Slide racker. With the frame mounted reddot you can get a hold of the slide to rack it back. It makes racking the slide super easy.

Lack of interest in 40 SW yet 10MM is getting popular??

I've heard this time and time again as a big 10mm negative. Bla bla bla bla bla, to me it's a positive. What do people who use a 44mag for self defense and practice? Reduced loads (44 Special loads). What do people with 357s do minimize over penitration and practice? Reduced loads (38...

Lack of interest in 40 SW yet 10MM is getting popular??

Boy this thread went sideways. The 40 waned because of bullet and powder improvements and less recoil in 9mm. Not to mention Glock and 9mm is military issue, so availability is not an issue. The 9mm high capacity has been the hot ticket for quite awhile and it's adequate. But if you want...

Consorting with the enemy (hey, its better than no consorting at all!) S&W herecy!

Don't hate me but I joined their forum. And in the past I even owned a few of them. The good news I sold them. Boy was I lucky to get rid of that Python, Diamondback and SAA.

You guys are not doing your part

I'm doing my part. All in moderation. A little sipping whiskey is a good way to end the day.

    S&W K Frame Revolver

Because of the poor condition it's not worth much, 4 bills to me is optimistic. Hopefully mechanically it's sound then at least you have a nice shooter.

What gun are you on the lookout for?

The no dashes are interesting to me. With that in mind, the Model 48 4-Screw is at the top of my list and because it's a 22mag only the 8-3\8" barrel will do. Next no dash would be a 4" 629. The only P&R SS 44Mag , made for just a year. Those two would satisfy me for? A little while anyway.
