I've heard good things about the DPMS G2 Recon, but great things about the M&P10. I emailed a bunch of shops near me and found my M&P10 for $1400. Not sure if they had anymore. Another place had one for $1479 or so.

Thanks. I think I'm just going to go with an Troy or Apex handguard and low-profile gas block.

Just bought an M&P10 (311308). It does not have battle sights on it. If I want to put a Magpul M-LOK SL mid-length handguard on it, will I need to buy a low-profile gas block? If the above won't work, what other handguard options do I have? Thanks!
