Thanks! Just found my way back to this tread. The thought crossed my mind, I just keep forgetting about it. I may even see how much they would rack me to send it off to their performance center.

Mine was pretty grimey. It shot okay, as okay as me shooting revolvers for the first time in my adult life could go but I was hoping that a cleaning would smooth out the action a little. Somehow I ended up loosing the firing pin. I think the wife or probably me, sucked it up with the vacuum.

Can anyone recommend a replacement firing pin to me? I lost mine when I detail stripped it for a cleaning.

Centerfire had them back in stock for a short time yesterday...I checked just now, and sold out. Price is now 399....

So I need some help sourcing a part for mine. Long story short, I lost the firing pin. I looked at the Apex kit but read about reliability issues. Is the extra length firing pin from Brownells/Midway good to go? I can't seem to find a factory replacement. I also thought about just sending it...

Really glad I jumped on mine when I did. Been running every other day with it tucked into a belly band with a speed loader or two. I'd like to get a kydex IWB holster but it carries rather well in the BB.

I got mine today. Mine came with a well worn set of Hogue grips. Has minimal scratching but nothing crazy. Poorly painted front sight also. Little bit of cylinder wiggle front to back, lock up seems okay. Not really sure what's bad or whats good but I had my dad take a look at it, and he gave it...

I found a PDF that MSP used that stated they used the 640 from 19XX until 2015. They started issuing Glock 17s and 26's as a backup in mid 2015. Not sure if the 640 I ordered is going to work it's way into being a backup gun but I'm definitely going to carry it.

I got an email from Centerfire today that they needed a copy of my FFL's info. I texted my buddy who said that they(Centerfire)called his partners shop to confirm. He'll be sending a copy of his info out to them. More wait time means more time to choose a decent holster.

Made the mistake of not signing up for a an account. I got the confirmation for my order and my FFL is on file but no tracking info. Only 2 days in but hoping my buddy calls me that it's arrived.

I did a little digging and found that Michigan State Police issued the 640 as a backup. Recently they went to Glock 17's and 26's as backup's so it's possible that where they came from.

I signed up for the email. The 442 i was bidding on jumped up too high. I'd assume they would take it off of the website if they weren't getting any more. Perhaps they are logging and checking them in batches or when they come into the shop. Looks like they have my FFL on file too...

Out of stock again. If they come back into stock I'll be ordering one. If not I'll try and get lucky bidding on GB.

Don't really need a J-frame but I can't help myself. Trying to decide between on of these 640's or snagging a 442.
