That's kinda where I'm at. I'll do a LOT of stuff, but this sounds like real artisan-level stuff. Can any old gunsmith do it, or should I seek out a real zen-master guru? Any recommendations on that front? Extractor pins are GTG.

Even being SUPER careful, the thin sight metal had a slight "tear", and my attempt to straighten it resulted in the rear sight now being half (3/4?) of the sight it used to be. It needs to be replaced. I'm leaning that way. Less work and less money!
