    Terrier purpose vs .38 special

I have a 32-1 2” and reload down to soft shooting plain old enjoyable shooting rounds. I plink with it so high velocity means nothing to me as it’s all about enjoyment. I shoot 32 S&W Long the same way and for the same reason. Also it’s a nostalgic cartridge that makes it fun as well.

    Sandwich Experimenting

Where I lived most of my life, here in the south, we had a true Kosher deli. Very unusual for a southern town but Harold established it in 1948 and he peptide it going until his wife died around 2008 and it became too much to keep going. Harold showed up every morning at 3:00an to start...

    Sandwich Experimenting

We exported heart attacks to the north. 😁 I love bacon, spicy mustard and super sharp cheddar on a croissant or a roll. Yum! The only thing better is a piece of country ham instead of the bacon. Unfortunately in my old age all that salt is a big no no. You know, when you think about it it’s...

Unfortunately my good friend Jimmy is no longer with us but was perhaps the kindest person I ever knew. He made the world a better place.

A Trip To The Local Pot Shop

A person in enough pain will say screw the 4473 and guns if they can get relief any other way.

Actually the DC3 I posted is a converted C47. I used to work for a company that had a DC3 that we used as an aerial research platform. I spent many hours flying in it. Great aircraft.

This was from an annual report I shot involving the air force. What a fun day shooting F16’s and 15’s. Hard to beat that one.

Questions about buying from Enterprise Car sales

Over the decades I’ve purchased three lease returns. The first was a late 3 year old Isuzu Troopr that I bought from my local dealer. It was still under factory warranty and cosmetically in excellent shape. After a couple of weeks the engine started knocking and I took it to the dealer. They...

The mire gets deeper for Boeing

Let me offer something I’ve not heard anywhere. I am a pilot of nearly 30 years but don’t fly jets but have quite a few good friends that have a massive amount of turbine time. One of my very good friends has flown since Vietnam and for the past 45 years been a chief pilot or operations...

No more Bullseye! What are you switching to?

I’ll second AA#2 and add Nitro 100NF. AA#2 has replaced HP38/231 for me and meters much better, is much cleaner in light loads and isn’t position sensitive. Nitro 100NF is just a touch faster than Bullseys and has many of the same characteristics. I still have 2.5lb of Bullseye though and I...

Every Gun Handed Down To me Is Junk!

Obviously I’d rather have my family members back rather than their guns but I inherited my dad’s Remington 3200 12 gauge, his Remington 1200 20 gauge and his model 66-2 2.5”. From my dad’s older brother I inherited a New England Arms 32 H&R and Browning Challenger II. Before my dad’s passing he...

    Protests close to home

For those like myself that will put their money where their mouth is, the person that got this started is Christy Walton the heiress of part of the Walmart fortune. She took out a full page add in The NY Times calling people to action today. This can turn into another Bud Light or Target lesson...
