I just took a look at those sold on Gunbroker. Most appear to have sold between $1100 and $1300. $1700 would be almost full MSRP for when it was new.

I like a good dark roast bean. Some of my favorites are from Lakota Coffee in Columbia MO. We came across their shop while at a swim meet at MIZZOU several years ago. I order fresh roasted beans from them online, grind as needed in a burr grinder and the use a Chemex pour-through to make coffee.
