I recently acquired a 44 Hand Ejector 2nd model. From what I've read, the serial number dates it to around 1925 (229xx). It has a 5" barrel and fixed sights. I own a few S&W revolvers, but nothing this old. A gunsmith looked at it, found no problems and said cowboy action loads should function...
