    A True 1891 SS Target 1st Model?

Thank you. Much value in the piece? I saw some plastic repro grips and screw kits for roughly $100. I would certainly want to shoot it.

    A True 1891 SS Target 1st Model?

Looking at this 1891 Single Shot in .22 and trying to figure out if it's a true 1st Model or a 2nd or 3rd model modified revolver with a single shot barrel or even something else. Perhaps you can see that the blast shields were cut from the frame? I read they added the slots on the frame sides...

.38 Special Ammo Velocity Comparisons: Historical vs. Modern

I've shot +P out of my 38/44 Outdoorsman and you can certainly tell the difference, but the gun handles it no problem.

Best screwdriver to fit the tiny K22 sight screws?

On some of those tiny S&W screws you may have to grind a driver bit down to fit. I did on a top break for the stock screws. Very tiny and you need a robust handle to turn them. Eyeglass drivers won't work.

Attached is a HS models chart created by a member of www.rimfirecentral.com. You can find a wealth of info there from a couple of HS experts including Alan Aronstein who now runs the operation in Houston.

Questions about buying from Enterprise Car sales

My wife and I have bought several lease returns from dealers without issue. I was a driver for a private transportation company that did most of their business with Enterprise. We picked up and delivered new cars/trucks/vans as well as used ones either going back for resale/auction or their bone...

Just curious if anyone here who partcipated in the spare magazine thread has rethought it after LA riots.

When does civil unrest become a riot is the same as asking when does a brook become a stream and a stream a river. Depends on where it is who responds. You won't find a definitive answer.

Just curious if anyone here who partcipated in the spare magazine thread has rethought it after LA riots.

There were bigger 'riots' at the Huntington Beach surf contests back in the 80s and 90s. I was there. Those were real donnybrooks.

Just curious if anyone here who partcipated in the spare magazine thread has rethought it after LA riots.

It hasn't been a riot. Nothing like the Rodney King riots in the mid 90s where people actually got injured or killed and buildings burned to the ground. This is just another protest that gets inflamed by outside forces. The whole event is less than a 2 square mile area around the federal...

    High Standard's "The Victor"

Been on the fence about investing in a Victor. Have 6 HS pistols and love them all. This Model 'D" is the most recent acquisition, and it's shoots great. The Supermatics are also tough to beat.

    That one neighbor

We tend to give away stuff with limited value to neighbors if they want them. Figure it's better to not worry about negotiating a fair price and what happens when it breaks. Don't want to do higher value business with neighbors either for the same reasons. Too easy to go wrong.
