I just picked up my Shield Plus Performance Center 3.1 with ported barrel. It is excellent and superior to the Sig p365 and Springfield Hellcat. I am hoping to add the 4" Performance Center to the collection for fun. My son now wants to buy a Shield Plus for himself after shooting mine.

I just got my Shield Plus and the slide lock is very stiff, however, I noticed at the range with a mag of ammo (not full, 5 rounds) I was easily able to release the slide. No mag, hard as can be, and have to pull the slide back to release. No other issues so far, other than the take down lever...
