ISO: Rough-Out Leather AIWB Holster for J-Frame w/ Smooth Clip + Sweat Guard Needed

@CWH44300 That seems to check all the boxes, thank you! Looking on their website, is that the "EZ Carry" holster? I can totally see getting one for one of my larger revolvers too.

ISO: Rough-Out Leather AIWB Holster for J-Frame w/ Smooth Clip + Sweat Guard Needed

@Matt_X I’ve been wanting to check out the PHLster Enigma. When you mentioned separate belt, I was just thinking of a regular belt with holster worn under the shorts. I remember carrying that way over 20 years ago when I was in an “NPE” and it worked well enough. With the light weight of the...

ISO: Rough-Out Leather AIWB Holster for J-Frame w/ Smooth Clip + Sweat Guard Needed

@Matt_X These look great! They look similar to my favorite Bell Charter Oak holster, which actually has a slight reverse cant - which really helps with AIWB. The Bucheimer above looks like what I'm imagining. The slight additional leather material on the body side - to cover more of the...

ISO: Rough-Out Leather AIWB Holster for J-Frame w/ Smooth Clip + Sweat Guard Needed

Needs a single smooth spring clip (no fabric-biting), extended sweat guard high enough to cover the cylinder release latch, no reinforced mouth (slim is priority)...

Even worth bringing a speed loader or strips for a revolver?

I don't typically carry a reload. If I feel I need one, it's usually in the form of an Airweight in the pocket. I do have a speedloader in the car - but it's loaded with hard cast Keith rounds for when I go deeper in the woods.

Testing firing pin function without live ammo?

Hi Everyone, Is there a way to test firing pin function without live ammo? I also don’t have reloading supplies. For various reasons, it’s difficult for me to get to a range right now to test my 2.5” 686+. But I noticed that the firing pin doesn’t protrude very much when pulling the trigger...
