    Model 41 early articles?

I’m doing some research on the model 41 and trying to find early articles on it. Does anyone know if there were any write ups during the decade that S&W were working on the prototypes? And then when it released, it would be great to find one of the earliest articles. Just hoping there is a...

FOUND WTB: Model 41 Original Grips

I've got a 1967 Model 41 that came with some amazing (Herrett, I think) target grips. Makes the gun an extension of your arm, but... I'd like to return the gun to original. Not sure if there was more that one style on the 1967 era Model 41's but I'd love to hear what you have for sale. Please...

FOUND WTB: Model 41 muzzle brake or cap

I've got a 1967 Model 41 and it came with just the screw sticking out. I've read that guys remove the muzzle brakes due to accuracy issues. I'd consider an original brake or cap. Please shoot me a PM. Thanks! TomD

    Model 41

So far, so good! Until the one pin that should be the easiest, the trigger pin. That was a surprise because that's how you do the trigger pull adjustment. I think the last owner welded that thing in. Project on hold waiting for ordered cupped punches. This thing isn't so bad, really. I'll...

    Model 41

Here is the link for the full takedown one. I did both a field strip video and a full take down video. My complete video is on the Mark I but it’s not a stretch to apply it to your Mark II. Mainly the trigger pin is simpler on the Mark II. You just push down on a retaining spring instead of...

    Model 41

Thanks Jag and Tim! I do have a couple schematics now and I’m hoping that will do it. Some guns just have a certain sequencing, like the final steps to the Ruger Mark pistol. I’m just hoping to not break something because I went in the wrong order. The great thing is that parts are everywhere...

    Model 41

Thanks Chief. It’s the same dead end I keep finding. It was like that was for me on finding a good tear down for the Ruger Mark pistols and the Ruger P Series so I pieced together what I could learn from others and made videos for myself so I would never forget. I hope to do the same for the...

    Model 41

Thanks Kevin, but that is not a full strip. It’s good, but doesn’t take it all the way down. I find reference to a manual that apparently used to be out there but the links do not work. I’ve even seen reference that the link you provided used to go further. Still hoping someone has a copy or...

    Model 41

Hi, can someone point me to a place to find help on a detailed disassembly of my model 41. Yes, a full strip, not just a field strip. Many thanks! TomD
