Hello all, Not new to firearms but a babe in the woods when it comes to handguns. Currently, I have a couple of inherited Rossi revolvers and a 617 I just purchased. The wish list is long. Figured the 617 would be a good trainer for double-action practice and the future 686 on said list.

I bought this a little over a month ago and have put 500+ rounds through it without issue. After my first trip to the range though I noticed this mark. I didn't see it during my initial cleaning before going to the range but it could have been there I suppose... next time, take pics of my new...
