.22 wheel gun with a decent da trigger?

A couple of things you might try, it worked for me. a 13 or 14lb rebound spring, that small light gun with a heavy trigger is not a good combination, while your under the hood put a drop of Lucus gun oil on all moving parts. if there is anything like oil in the chambers the ammo will start...

Do I really need to completely de-lead the bore?

You might try J-B bore paste, the blue type. I put just a small amount on a brass bore brush, then just use that brush for that cleaning only, then follow up with cloth patches. A plastic jar of J-B will last me for years, Good Luck..

    637 grip screws

I have been using a 3/32 bit on my 637 and 617 for a long time, It always fits a little lose. I have a set of allen wrenches, and the 5/64 fits great. I think the 5/64 may be a 2mm, going to take the allen screw with me to Low's and try a 2mm bit, they should work great in my magnetic bit...

    Spring kit for a newbie

If the trigger pull is smooth, you should not need to change the springs, just take it to the range a few trips, it will smooth out, the trigger pull lbs. will come down a couple lbs.. you can check under the hood to make sure its lubed good, may need a drop of Lucus gun oil on the moving parts...

    Revolver input required

If you have larger hands, and are used to shooting a L frame, you will not like the grip or trigger pull on a J frame, sounds like you will like a K frame in a 2-1/2 to 3-inch barrel, 6 rounds, you may want a 357-mag model, you can practice with 38 specials ammo, some like to use 38 sp +p to...

Concealed Carry, 4 inch. K Frame?

Yes, I carry a 1966 10-5, 4" at around a 11 O'clock position with a soft leather IWB holster, on a short trip, not for all day, the 4" barrel will get you a little bit when you sit down with a 11, or 1 O'clock carry, a 3" barrel may be okay when you sit down, I don't have a 3" to try, I carry a...
