    Customer Service tale re: SW99 + & -

    YMMV The P99 backstraps, which I just received from Walther on Thursday, don't fit my SW99 .45. They are too short by 3/8" for the cutout.

    My SW99 .45, purchased around 2003, came with 3 backstraps. Treat them with kid gloves because all of mine disintegrated, which appears to be a common problem. This forum and Smith and Wesson support both say the Walther P99 backstraps will fit, but don't on mine. I ordered two from Walther and...
