    9mm Snub-nose

Good to hear! I have that crappy black matte finish, (i like the stainless is better) but if it shoots reliably to 5-7 yards i'll be happy!

    9mm Snub-nose

Taurus makes the 905 5 shot 9mm snub, I can't vouch for them one way or the other. I bought one LNIB used for 249.00 for that price I couldn't leave it behind. I bought it so I had a snub for 9mm (and 380). Have not fired it yet so who knows? It won't replace my 642's

Bodyguard 2.0 is slowly replacing my J frames

Lots of good reports on the Bodyguard. I switched from a pocket semi to a hammerless J frame (642) about 10 yrs ago when I was 60. Nothing to think about, Never experienced a life/death adrenaline dump so I figured idiot proof reliability was best for me. Often carry 2, and/or add a IWB Glock...

    Closing out an Estate

Most of us opt for "spousal support" at retirement, which means she would still get about 70%ish of his monthly retirement check. ( the wife would have had to sign off on this if he chose not to do it)

New Jersey Bans Safe, Effective Ammunition

Edit: Apologies, this is old news, I guess I've been living under a rock in NH, lucky me, just saw it posted at a news site. Apologies for old news New Jersey’s draconian laws prohibit the possession of commonly used hollow-point ammunition outside the home, leaving residents to carry...

There's not a single new car I would buy at this point

I think the turbos, hybrids are to increase milage #s for the mfrs vehicle lines. And we're told they are nice things for us.... until they break. I would have to drive 50k a year to even consider the minor fuel savings. Just my opinion

Gun safes: opinions and advice needed…

Good advice. Remember if you have access to the sides or back of a residential security cabinet (what we call a safe). You can cut it open in 10 minutes with a 4" battery power angle grinder.
