Saudade, I do remember seeing that. However there is a caveat... it does not work with pin activated lasers. Sort of messes with the home target range capability. It is close though, besides not working with the Shield. It would work with my Springfield XD9- Redderek

Mine needs about 0.3". Trick is to reach it when a magazine is inserted without jamming the system. I need some time to work out the details.- Redderek

I have seen the CoolFire system, but that required a barrel change and a new laser. Total cost of the kit is more than half the gun price. I have seen blow-back trigger resets for other handguns but not for the S&W. Has anyone seen this type of system for the M&P Shield?- Redderek
