I was not aware of this. The pistol permit thing was redundant and I’m glad to see it removed. It was limiting and in some counties sheriffs would have a year sheet asking for make and model serial to be sent in to them. This was a long time ago in Durham county, until it was removed.

What does a CC class really teach someone...? They still have to pass a NIC's background check. At 18 you're a legal adult, but the 1968 gun act stops 18-20 age folks from being sold a handgun.
