A no dash has much less production quantity by far than m&p because of the limited production years but the 5 screw has a collector value. So, by shear availability the no dash is rarer if that’s what you mean by older. In my book I’d buy a no dash over the other (I already did😎)

I got this 28-2 while back. Around 1971. Pretty clean!

To me that looks like keep, no tail on the “s” if it was spelled keys, and the questionable “ e”matches the one in “whole”. I would think the invoice would be more accurate than a hand written serial ledger probably based on invoices imo.
