    Knuckle Buster

Everyone forgot about these: UPDATE: Actually, I think Alk8944 had the grip adapter idea first. The issue is, can the adapter installed on a BG and not a normal J-frame? Ebay is full of 3D printed adapters, there may be models developed for the BG specifically.

    FPC 9mm Magazine Compatibility Issue

How many rounds remain? If only 1, then the root cause is obvious. If more than 1, it's not so obvious. Bullets may be touching the pawl, or the recoil activates it.

    9mm Snub-nose

In the end, they avoided mentioning if the chambers are reamed with a proper 9mm reamer, and are thus conical for the tapered case. What a bunch of weasels.

    9mm Snub-nose

I haven't encountered that problem in my LCR so far, but the folk remedy is to use the list maintained by the Boberg users. Their requirements for crimp are even stricter than ours. If they put the ammo on the list, it's an iron-clad guarantee.

    9mm Snub-nose

I'd sign up for a waiting list. Use a one-time, disposable address if you have to. BTW, how do you use them? In my design, it was a major criterium that the speedloader were to be fully manipulated with one hand. With the TK holder, how do you separate the clip? You mentioned a pocket carry...

    S&W 940

Something that bothers me slightly is that I'm pretty sure I saw on video that cylinder of the new 940 was recessed at the rear, but cylinders of the old 940s were flat-faced. Now I'm concerned that moon clips may not be compatible between generations.

    9mm Snub-nose

I swear I didn't know when I started this thread. Pure luck. I'll look into making speed-loaders for the new 940, like in the photo at the beginning of this thread, when I have the time.

    9mm Snub-nose

Is there an S&W equivalent of Ruger LCR 9mm? I took one to the range and I thought it was quite nice, but could stand a touch of class, better sights, and a better trigger. I looked around but it appears that they never produced a J-frame in 9mm or .380 ACP. I found Model 986 Performance Center...

    FPC 9mm Magazine Compatibility Issue

Magazine overtravels on the ejector in a PCC. So just insert it until it clicks, then tug on it to make sure it's seated. That's all there's to it.

    Pistol Caliber Carbines

Ruger PC has a factory option for Glock and aftermarket for M&P magazines. These days M&P magazines get some traction. Smith's own FPC is a great seller. Although Resolve is not selling well (tops at about 6,800 at present), it still exists. KelTec sells a "multimag" version of SUB2000 that can...

    22 Victory , Worth Buying?

My Victory is reliable with various ammunition types. Its magazine capacity is outclassed by more modern pistols like Taurus TX22, but fortunately that wasn't an issue for me. I much prefer a proven reliability. One thing I don't like is that the safety moves when I pull the trigger. The whole...

    .45 Shield Magazine Dropping

My Shield 45 had a well defined mag drop problem of the early magazines. Adding the channels in the followers cured the problem completely. The S&W issued updated magazines, which work. If you experience mag drops with the new magazines (with channels), then it's a different root cause. In...

    The new E series CSX

Too bad they missed an opportunity to re-profile it for Equalizer/Plus magazines.

    Promag

Thanks, guys. Looks like I should buy more of them. Maybe I just got a bad example. Promag was okay for me on other platforms, not super great but it worked for range use. This is my first on M&P.

    Promag

Hypothetically speaking, if someone made an adapter for M&P magazines in Ruger PC, and did not work with Promag, would it be a problem for you?

I use DeSantis Speed Scabbard for Shield 45, it's quite satisfactory.

    Henry Homesteader 9mm

I thought they borrowed Winchester 1907. An interesting feature of Homesteader is its magwell module. Although it has little practical purpose, it allows one to do some fun things (pictured).

    Henry Homesteader 9mm

Once again, the same claim. But every time I look into this, it's that one H.O. review (in 2 videos). Works great for everyone else.
