Thank you for posting. As we all age, it is our responsibility to remember our friends, fellow members and reflect on their knowledge, friendship and life.
I've never tried that fuel type. Living in Rural SE Wisconsin we are able to be purchase 91 octane ethanol free gas. That with a little Sea Foam at end of season for storage. Never had issues in my mower or ATV's.
I use an excel spreadsheet to log my firearms. All details, matching grips, oddities, rare or not, current price, etc. I then save to a backup drive and also email it to myself and store it in a folder. The Excel sheet is password protected.
So what is the best plan? From deer rifles/shotguns/22's/LEO EDCs/war bring backs/ETC... We all hold on to items we have owned, bought or inherited. The biggest question for me is "WILL" the people we leave or sell our items to care for them as we do. I also an avid stamp and comic book...
My buddy said he's had the pen a year or so, stored in his cleaning box. No harm giving it a try. I was happy with the outcome. I may try a few more coats. As I look at a close up of the photos, I can see the seams. But maybe I am looking to close.
Had a friend who had a touchup bluing pen. Applied 4 coats. Cleaned and polished with a new dollar bill between each coat. Just enough hard texture. I think it turned out darn well.
I own this 15-3 (posted previously about sourcing grips). The blued finish is pretty good except for 2 spots on the cylinder. See the attached pics. Is it worth getting a cold blue kit to touch this up or not? Thanks
I have one of those also and love it. My only issue is being carful not to remove the point on the knife. I believe it actually mentions something in the manual
Looking to buy a set of non diamond grips for my 1971 15-3. I believe the black washers are correct for my revolver. My SN is 1K859**. Picture is cropped from a forum member who showed me what I need to buy. Located in SE Wisconsin. Thanks..
