When I was using a ultrasonic cleaner I noticed it took more pressure to size cases and strip the expander plug from the cases. I went back to tumbling with walnut and there was a difference in sizing and flairing effort needed. I would think that having the cases to clean would affect feeding also.

Inconsistency in process garbage brass. Range pickups can have brass run through a sub gun that the only way to resize it back to factory specs is with a roll sizer. Brass from USPSA open guns has the same problem. Some HK guns have a fluted chamber.

Run a box of factory ammo through it if it runs 100% you need to trouble shoot your loading process and the brass used.

They are not trying to shave cost they are trying to make the mags as small as possible. It's all numbers my gun is smaller than the compition.

Looks like S&W is having trouble assembling their own guns. My guess is it was bent on initial assembly. My experience with big box stores you can't field strip a gun.

I have. Missouri bullets hy tec coated is what I used. About 250 rounds per range trip. Once I shoot up the 1k rounds or so I have load I will change to plated. My gun leads pretty bad. A Lewis lead remover doesn't work that well brass wool on a brass brush worked better.

The date on my box is 4/05/25. My followers look like have been modified. The barrel feed ramp is polished. The frame feed ramp doesn't have the ridge. I have put 500 rounds through it ln 2 sessions with no problems. The only thing I see it doesn't like hy tec coated bullets they lead the barrel.

That sounds like you're barrel short chambered for the ammo you are using.
