Default Interested in IDPA? Class at BGSL Wilmore, KY

Here's your chance to learn about IDPA, (International Defensive Pistol Association,) in a fun and friendly environment. In this one day class you will learn the following

The theory behind the sport
The equipment needed to play
The rules and scoring system used
Some tips to make your matches more fun and exciting
Students will also have plenty of hands on shooting time and participate in a mini-IDPA style match.

The class will begin in the main clubhouse at 9am on October 18th. The cost is $65.00 for BGSL members and $75.00 for the public.

Class size is limited so register early!

You will need to bring the following

Eye and ear protection
Pistol 9mm or larger
Strong side belt holster
Two single or one double mag pouch/holder
200 rounds of ammo
A concealment garment such as a vest or button down shirt

Sooo,You bring everything yourself and pay for him or her to talk....Easy money.I'm glad they do it here for free.Or you could go to a match and talk to the friendly people who shoot the match and they could tell you all about it for free.

Not everyone feels good about going to a shoot without some prior experience. We have new shooters all the time at our IDPA and USPSA shoots. We put them in one group with two or more very experienced Safety Officers. Nothing is more important than safety.

Do you think you learn more during a match, as compared to 6 to 8 hours of intense instruction?

Yes..Hands on always works better.And watching the people do it shows you what it's like.
