I believe the 5906TSW is approved. On the mag safety issue. I shoot a M&P with a mag safety in IPSC. What I do is I hand the RO an empty mag for him to keep. At the end of the stage after I clear it. The RO hands me the empty mag then I can dry fire (hammer down) as instructed. I carry this M&P off duty and have to keep it "as manufactured" which is why I just don't disable the mag safety.
