Default 627 in ASI

Pulled my 627 pro out from the back of the safe, dusted it off and ran it today in our monthly ASI match. Was fun shooting it today, has been months since I shot it last.

Came in middle of the pack with only 3 down. Reloading was smoother than I recalled using moon clipped 38s.

For those unfamiliar, ASI is a game similar to IDPA but more entry level. As an entry level action shooting game, there are no divisions, so I competed with all other guns. I shoot ASI in addition to IDPA as I figure more trigger time is always beneficial.

Fun day, reminded me how much fun it is to shoot an 8 shot N frame

Had another fun day shooting our local ASI match with my 627 Pro. It did everything I asked of it. Really enjoy shooting this gun. While my shooting was not as good as last time, I still shot fairly well.

Sounds good. We don't have ASI here, never heard of it before. I shoot my 627s in ICORE and really like them for that.

Wish we had icore here- Western Wa. Wasn’t into pistol competition when I was stationed at Ft Leavenworth, was into sporting clays and bird hunting.
