Default E series 1911 in USPSA

Decided to shoot my E series 1911 in our winter league match yesterday. While I had a fun time and the gun ran great, I didn’t shoot my best. Missed a target on a tight corner shot and struggled with the small pepper poppers this time.

I’ll try it next match and reconfirm my sights.

Regardless, was fun to bring out my long neglected S&W e series 1911. Only mods I did was put a FO front sight, install a modest mag well and some lok grips.

These are great pistols right out of the box, so under appreciated and valued imo.

Why anybody would wanna swap out those grips is beyond me, anything else is just a downgrade?
Beautiful Government btw, I'd love to get one of those too.

While I liked the look of the original grips, I desired something with more grippiness. Found the LOK grips I have do that.
