I was talking to the Rangemaster at the United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK, about his hosting one of the few true IPSC matches to be held in the United States next year.
You see, most of what are commonly called "IPSC matches" here are actually shot under USPSA rules.

Thus only a few people in the United States even know that IPSC has a Standard Division. USPSA rules do NOT have a Standard Division, or a division that really matches standard. "USPSA Limited Division" is similar except the limited gun does NOT have to fit in the IPSC Standard "box" to limit size.
