Several of you who were in Tulsa asked that I let you know the final results of the amounts raised at the BBQ get together for the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation. Nine people donated items to our mini auction. We raised $4695. The match on this brought the total raised to $9390. This was the most we had ever raised at one time. It is much appreciated. We need to have somewhere around $100,000 in the bank before we have enough to start the next phase. The total amount for phase three is about $300-$350,000, which is about what the first two cost.
If you are not a member, I urge you to do so. You can find more info on joining or what it is all about on our web site - swhistoricalfoundation.com. You can also find out more info about the SWHF by reading the threads on this Forum. (Thanks Lee for giving us our own sub-topic!!)
In any event---THANKS to everyone who donated or purchased items in TULSA!!
