Letter status tracking
Hello everyone, I sent in for a letter about 8 weeks ago. I understand the period is 8-12 weeks; is there a way to track the status of my letter? I see no contact info for the S&W historical society. Check did get cashed early on.

If your check was cashed, your letter is in the process. Roy and I are working 7 days a week.

Take your time guys.
Since it takes so much time and effort, go at a reasonable pace and don’t get burnt out and frustrated. We can all wait for the excellent service you are providing, but where’s MY letter? (Just kidding.)
Thanks again for doing what you do.
Jim

I was a fellow who included a hand written note that I needed the letter mailed to me, but made out to my grandfather in law. It is going to be a Christmas present, he has an early M&P 38 that was issued to hi father when he was a police officer here in St. Joseph MO.

I got the letter today. Thank you so much for the attention to detail and the Christmas dedication along with the copy of the original receipt. This will mean a lot to my grandfather-in-law. He was a police officer in the late 50's through the 80's. The gun was passed down to him by his father who was also a police officer. Story goes that they were not issued firearms, so when he became an officer the police chief opened a drawer in his desk and said "here, you can have this" so he could have a firearm. The gun has only moved 50 miles from the store it was originally shipped to in 1927. Thanks again for the research, and have a Merry Christmas.
